OUTBOARD MOTOR MAINTENANCE AND OVERHAUL
SCOPE OF WORK
The training consists of engine characteristics, fundamentals, operating parameters, internal combustion-theory, fuel-systems, complete overhaul, disassembly, troubleshooting, inspections, cleaning, repair, tuneup, and reassembly of engine, maintenance, service and practical application techniques. In addition, students will learn tools and their use, use of precision measuring instruments and shop safety.
This training is necessary to extend the service life cycle of small craft outboard motor engines. The detailed instruction and principles learned here apply to all types of outboard engines.
